Somehow, I just love Rhododendrons. They are difficult to grow here, too hot in the summer, etc., but we still try and try again. It is lucky that there are some gardens who manage a great Rhododendron display in the spring. This was found at Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge, CA. It was kinda easy to make it impressive. The subject just IS impressive. This full sheet watercolor(30x22") is unframed.
